Really long sms, even unicode

Ususally the long sms or long unicode two opposite thing. Some provider support unicode sms, some support long sms but only one both.

www.messagingbay.com support long unicode sms, looks like the only one so far.

Delivery report also available on callback URL, so you can trace what happened with your message.

Security check

Some company required to send by fax or e-mail one or more of the following items:

-Copy of the credit card (front,back)
-Name and address of the credit card holder
-Copy of your personal Identity Card or passport
-Your signature
-photo ID
-proof of postal address
-recent bill

(actually two UK and and one Swiss company following this policy, their names not mentioned on this page at all)

Well, I strongly suggest to not give out such a personal details since as I assume these information more than enough to create an Offshore company somewhere on a remote island (e.g. tax heaven)

This not means your personal data surely going into wrong hands but be carefull.

Today several methods exist to verify the creditcard ownership:

-random charge on your card in range 0.01...1.00 USD or EUR, then you'll review your online banking record (e.g. internetbank or just check your security SMS from your bank) and find the value of pending charge and you can enter on a particular page where this method used

-random merchant ID with fix pending change 1 USD/EUR, same process as above

This solution provide enough security for card processing companies, since such a details above only available for the true card/accout owner, so no need to worry about stolen cards.

So here we are...ready to choose the desired company for our sms needs but sometimes
facing problems about the integration in previously working script or website.

As long as not want to do some fancy application usually the on site help enough.
But this not always true for every company...sometimes pretty difficult to find out
every details.

So here is the deal, I try to show evey typical problem and it's solutions.
Script examples and solutions especially for unicode problem coming soon.
